"Once you Go Stack You Never Go Back"
Short Stack release their debut single 'Shimmy A Go Go'
Short Stack are fast emerging as the hottest new young band in Australia. With more energy than a box of frogs, their music is a blend of many genres, including punk, glam and indie. Their lyrics are honest, witty and tongue in cheek all stitched together with teenage confessions.
Over the last 18 months, the band have tapped into the power of the internet to showcase their musical abilities to astounding effect. With over half a million plays on My Space, more than a quarter of a million on You Tube - where they even beat out the likes of Britney Spears to have their video in the number one spot for a day - they have a global fanbase, their own TV show, merchandise range, ring tone, and have supported bands like Good Charlotte, Kiss Chasey, Mcfly and Hello Goodbye around the country. All of this and they haven't even released their first single..
YOUTUBE: Short Stack T.V. launched in July 2007, showing self-filmed episodes of the band's life. It's proving to be a winner with the internet generation and has currently had over 250,000 views. www.youtube.com/shortstackband.
